The public's being invited to shape the new Dublin-only edition of Monopoly.

Its makers want people to suggest what landmarks should command a high rent on the updated board for 2018.

The traditional playing pieces will remain the same apart from one which will be given an Irish flavour.

Monopoly executive Robert Osborne explains the new game will feature tourist favourites.

"So it's not just street names, it's actually more landmark-based. Things like retail outlets that you go to, or Trinity College, the Ha'Penny Bridge, Phoenix Park. So you're buying and owning the property that you shop in or work in so it's something completely different."

Let Mr Monopoly know what Dublin landmarks should be on the board by emailing

Polls close at 23.59pm on 30th April 2018.

The game will be out in October.
