"Fionn will be what makes us put one foot in front of another"

"She looks perfect, her face is beautiful, she is unmarked, she just looks like Dara".

Niamh Fitzpatrick, long-term contributor to Today FM, has been paying tribute to her sister Captain Dara Fitzpatrick.

She says the 45 year old was fun, kind and warm and a real family person.

Dara is survived by her adopted son Fionn - who is almost 3.

Niamh says he is unaware about what has happened and is a "little ball of energy".

"Dara adopting Fionn means she has left him to us and I think he will be what lets us put one foot in front of the other".

Susan Keogh has been speaking to Niamh Fitzpatrick.
