A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Nicola Collins in Cork earlier this year.
Ms Collins was discovered with serious injuries at a flat on Popham's Road, Farranree, County Cork on March 27th.
Emergency services tended to the 39-year-old at the scene, however they were unable to revive her and she was pronounced dead.
The afternoon, gardaí arrested a man in his 40's in connection with the investigation.
He is currently detained at Mayfield Garda Station.
