A church in Co. Offaly has had more than 100 windows broken in recent days.
It's believed the damage was done to St Catherine's Church in Tullamore sometime between Tuesday evening and yesterday afternoon.
The rector of the church says that thousands of euro will now have to be spent on repairs and extra security measures.
Reverend Isaac Delemere doesn't believe it was a sectarian attack.
He told Midlands 103 "The wider community would share our outrage and sadness that this has happened."
"There's no question - it's certainly not sectarian. I imagine that it's some young people messing about."
"It's just sad to see when you see the scale of the damage, how much time they took in doing that."
