Tommy Tiernan came to visit The Ray D'Arcy Show today and he had the whole room, over 120 people, singing 'Cead Mile Failte Romhat' at the top of their lungs. It's just one of those things, we all know it, we may not have sang it in twenty years but by Jaysus, it's still there. It got us thinking. There are things in your home house that will NEVER change and if we're honest, we'd never want them to.
- Your communion/confirmation/ debs photo on that absolutely rotten green-brown backdrop. All pictures feature pot of artificial flowers.
- At least 1 (but if we're honest 5) pint glasses from the pub.
- Phone books, so many phone books and Golden Pages.
- Waterford Crystal. Someone won something at some point between the 80s and 90s.
- A bit of delph from the Quinnsworth collectible tea set
- A stopped clock. Sure, why would you have a working clock in the kitchen?!
- Shelves full of cassettes / cds gathering dust
- A shoe rack filled will the muckiest, most wretched looking shoes in the world.
- A drawer of 'miscellaneous items' such as batteries, screws, pens, old phones, a rolling pin and some thread.
