And just like that… the girls are back!

Seventeen years after the ground-breaking show's end, Sex and the City returns for a new chapter - And Just Like That...

The 10 episode series is available from December 9th on Sky Comedy and you can catch up on Sex and The City, available on demand on Sky Comedy.

Follow Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristen Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

To celebrate, let's look back at some of Sex and the City's most iconic moments ...

The Post It breakup

After Carrie and her flakey writer boyfriend Jack Berger (Ron Livingston) promise to work on their relationship, he bails in the night, leaving her a Post-it note to deliver the blow, "I'm sorry. I can't. Don't hate me."

All these years later, it still stings.

The true meaning of 'soulmates'

The Sex and the City gang remain the epitome of friendships goals for moments like the below.

After being blown off at her 35th birthday dinner, Carrie admits that the hardest part of this particular birthday was not having a "soulmate" to wish her happy birthday.

Charlotte then suggests, "maybe we could be each other's soulmates, and then we could let men be just these great nice guys to have fun with."

Charlotte vs. Big

Speaking of Charlotte, she took loyalty to a new level in Sex and the City: The Movie.

When she runs into Big after he ditches Carrie on their wedding day, she has some choice words for him.

"I'm so mad at you," she yells. "I was always on your side, and you go and you do that to Carrie."

"No, no, I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to waste tears on you," she continues before her water breaks.

"I curse the day you were born!"

Clapbacks don't get much more iconic than that!

Miranda proposes to Steve

What a journey this pair went on - from Miranda's initial hesitancy to the final season proposal that solidified them as fan favourites.

No wonder Steve's response was a resounding "hell yeah"!

"Go get our girl"

It took Big six seasons to pull the finger out and realise Carrie was The One. Lucky for viewers though, it gave us the sweet moment that saw him consult with her friends as to whether he should go halfway around the world to tell her.

Miranda's answer? "Go get our girl." Pass the tissues, please!
