Dermot & Dave listeners have spoken and it turns out the country’s nicest men come from…LIMERICK!
Twitter went crazy this week after nice-guy Greg won Love Island with fans of the hit show taking to Twitter to ask where they could find themselves “a Greg” with a lot of the UK’s female population planning trips to Limerick to bag themselves a nice man.
Dermot & Dave then ran a poll asking listeners to vote for the county with the nicest men.
The top five were:
Limerick – 31%
Wexford – 27%
Cork – 16%
Mayo – 14%
Kerry – 12%

Roscommon
Kilkenny
Dublin
Longford
Some of the reasons behind the votes included:
“It's got to be my limerick man, he wraps my pjs around a hot water bottle every night”
“Wexford people generally are the best! Maybe it's because they get more sunshine than any other part of Ireland!”
“Not Dublin anyway it's full of self important kn*bs who call soccer Football and say we won when the team they support wins!!”
So there you go, if you want yourself a nice Irish man head to Limerick and avoid Dublin!
