Lots of people have moaned about how awful 2016 has been...well we think it's just been redeemed.
This puff pastry meat & potato pie is believed to be the first pie astronaut.
It was fired into the upper stratosphere attached to a helium filled weather balloon by some lads in white coats in Wigan in Northern England. (there was no mushy pea docking ship unfortunately)
The space pie was part of the launch of The World Pie Eating Contest taking place there next week.
