We need to take a leaf out of the French model for how to encourage better behaviour at our public transport stalls.
On the Paris Métro they have a cat that greets passengers and ensures everyone is using the correct ticket.
Irish rail and Bus Éireann need to get on this!

This Kitty Guard reminded us of this fella. Remember him? His name was Tama and he became famous as the station master and a railway stop in Japan!
