Matt Cooper was interviewed by Fintan O’Toole about his visit to North Korea
Matt has been in Pyongyang this week as part of a documentary team covering the basketball match arranged by former NBA star Dennis Rodman to mark the birthday of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Amongst other things Matt discusses the odd relationship between Rodman and the North Korean dictator, what it's like to travel around Pyongyang, the human rights abuses that have been inflicted on the country's population, and the bizarre sight of Rodman leading a packed auditorium in singing Happy Birthday to the North Korean leader.
