Ten new cases of HIV are diagnosed every week here in Ireland.
That's an increase of 35 per cent on the number of new cases since 2011.
HIV Ireland says last year a total of 498 people were diagnosed as living with HIV - compared to 372 in 2014.

The charity says the rate of increase is alarming and is calling on the Government to invest in a public awareness campaign.
