4 People Arrested In Relation To Attack On QIH Director Kevin Lunney

Four people have been arrested in relation to the horrific abduction and attack on Quinn Industrial Holdings Director Kevin Lunney.

The 50-year-old was driving from work to his home in Kinawley, Co Fermanagh when he was attacked on September 17th.

He was beaten and tortured for hours and had the letters 'QIH' cut into his chest with a Stanley knife.

Today the PSNI arrested two men, aged 23 and 61, and one woman, aged 61, in the Fermanagh area.

They're being held on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap; conspiracy to cause Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent and assisting offenders.

They have been taken into custody at Omagh police station where they are being questioned by detectives.

Meanwhile, Gardai arrested a man in his 30s in relation to the abduction and assault for an offence contrary to section 72 Criminal Justice Act 2006.

He is currently detained at Cavan Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Four men have been previously charged in relation to the attack.
