Visits to Irish homes through Air BnB have almost trebled in just a year, according to new figures.

Nearly a quarter of a million guests have been hosted in Dublin alone in the past year, with more than 11 thousand listings across the country.
The website allows anyone to rent out rooms in their home, and the average Irish host earns €2,600 a year through it.
The Air BnB site is urging Irish people to open up their spare rooms to visitors over the busy Summer months.
Former Interior Designer in Dundrum, Sarah Lafferty, says becoming a host has been life changing over the past three years.
