Argos has signalled the end of an era after announcing it's to stop printing catalogues.

For the past 47 years, the catalogues have showcased what was being sold by the store.

More than one billion copies of the Argos catalogue have been printed since then.

At its height, it was the most widely circulated publication in Europe.

So instead of the printed version, Argos is going to focus on its online service.

It believes that will offer more convenience for people.

The good news is that Argos will still be producing the iconic Christmas Gift Guide.

So kids can still circle out products they would love to find under the tree on Christmas morning!
