Bad Parking And Loud Music Among Most Annoying Things Neighbours Do

Bad or 'inappropriate' parking has been named as the most annoying thing your neighbours can do.

Noisy children, shouting, dogs barking, and loud music also feature in the top five list of most irritating behaviours.

The survey by phone network Giffgaff, found 15% of people would like to be better friends with their neighbours.

One in five said they find it easier to communicate with neighbours online rather than face-to-face.

The Sun, reports the survey of 2,000 people found most hadn't spoken to their neighbour for three weeks - but enjoy 'passive aggressive' posts on residents' social media pages.

56% of respondents who were members of local online groups report they've seen cases of 'sniping and backbiting' on forums, with 34% describing community-based online groups as 'pure entertainment'.

Almost half of people (47%) admit to sharing information with their friends and family about certain online posts because they were so amusing.

4. Shouting
5. Noisy children
6. Noise from a house party
7. Doors being slammed
8. Loud TV
9. Messy exterior appearance e.g. not tidying up, leaving paint chipped etc
10. Animal faeces left outside
11. Smoking
12. Having a fire/bbq
13. Leaving the bins out/not putting the away
14. Having to take their parcels in repeatedly
15. Swearing loudly
16. Littering
17. Not giving you a 'heads up' about construction work
18. Having a bold colour front door
19. Not holding a door open for you
20. Not holding a lift for you
