Coronavirus: Four More Deaths And 16 New Cases In Republic


There have been four more coronavirus-related deaths in the Republic.

16 new cases of COVID-19 have also been confirmed.

It brings the total number of cases to 25,355, while the number of deaths has reached 1,714.

23 COVID-19 patients were in Ireland's intensive care units (ICU) as of this morning, while a total of 48 confirmed cases are being treated in the country's hospitals.

Data released today shows have been no new deaths related to COVID-19 recorded in Northern Ireland.

One new case has been notified.

The death toll remains at 543 in the North, while the total number of confirmed cases is 4,863.
