Croke Park Residents And Promoters Start Talks Over Garth Brooks Gigs

Croke Park residents will meet with stadium bosses and promoters this evening over next year's concerts at the Dublin stadium.

It's expected country music star Garth Brooks will try to play five gigs at GAA HQ next September.

Dublin city council has granted a licence for three gigs in September, with an application lodged for a further two.

While Ed Sheeran will play two gigs at the venue in April.

Local Cllr Nial Ring says some residents fear they'll become "prisoners in their own home".

"If people feel that we have to address that."

The independent councillor said traffic will be another major issue discussed at the meeting.

"People do want to move around as clearly as they can," he said.
