Dara Calleary is to become the new Agriculture Minister.
Fianna Fail's deputy leader is to succeed Barry Cowen in the role.
Calleary was nominated for the position this afternoon, following Barry Cowen's sacking last night.
The Offaly Fianna Fail TD was removed just 17 days into his tenure.
It came after he refused to give further public statements on his 2016 drink driving offence.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said Calleary will be an effective Minister and will work hard and diligently with the Agrictuure portfolio.
Meanwhile, Jack Chambers to be made the new Chief Whip and Sean Fleming promoted to Junior Minister in Dept of Finance.
