Protestors are calling for hospital guidelines to be changed to allow partners to attend all scans.

"I was a high-risk pregnancy and he was at nothing. Absolutely nothing. Had to go for an emergency c-section - it was quite traumatic," said one woman who was attending the demonstation in Dublin today.
"It's such a significant life event - you're at one of your most vulnerable points, and to do it on your own is really tough. I can't understand why it's still going on", said another demonstrator.
