An elderly woman has died following a house fire in Co. Wexford.
The blaze broke out in Ballyeden, Davidstown shortly before 7 o'clock this morning.
Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene of the fire.
A woman in her 80s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, a man in his 40s was taken to Wexford General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The scene of the house has been preserved for a technical exam.
Gardai say the cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious at this time.
