Cannabis worth €1.5 million has been seized in Dublin.
The drugs were found after a car was stopped and searched in West Dublin this afternoon.
The find was made as part of an intelligence led operation, targeting organised criminality in the Dublin area.
The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau were involved.
A 66 year old man was arrested at the scene.
He is currently detained at Lucan Garda Station.
Gardai say their investigations are ongoing.
