'This is handmade, homemade music'
Hozier must be pinching himself this morning, after storming to the top spot in the USA in the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart.
Niall Horan and U2 were the last Irish artists to have a No. 1 album in the USA in 2017, but neither managed to debut at No.1.
WASTELAND, BABY! was already No 1 in Ireland, and it looks like music lovers state-side appreciate Hozier's incredible new album as much as we do here at home.
Hozier himself is speechless over the reaction to his 'handmade, homemade music.'

Hozier is set to play at Irish Independent Park in Cork, this June.
