The High Court has approved the extradition of an Irishman to the UK to face charges over the discovery of 39 bodies in a truck container in Essex last year.

Eamon Harrison, 23, is facing 39 manslaughter charges as well as accusations of conspiracy to commit human trafficking and conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration.

The court approved his extradition this morning.

The court has delayed the signing of the formal order so as to give his legal team time to appeal the decision should they decide to do so.
