The cost of mobile phone roaming in the EU falls dramatically today.
The measure is being introduced ahead of full ban on roaming charges from next year.
From today, mobile phone users travelling outside their home country will pay no more than an extra five cent per minute for calls.
Roaming charges for texts have fallen to a maximum of two cent per message, on top of the normal cost.
The biggest price reduction is for date roaming.
Users now pay an extra five cent per megabyte of data they use while abroad - a 75% drop.
