Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have drawn level in a new opinion poll

Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have drawn level in a new opinion poll.

The Red C survey for tomorrow's Sunday Business Post also shows small movements for Independents and other parties.

Compared to the last Sunday Business Post poll in mid March, Fine Gael go down 1, while Fianna Fáil go up 1 and both are now on 26%.

Sinn Féin support's unchanged on 15%, non aligned independents go up two points to 11% while the Independent alliance drop a point to 4%.

Labour's up two to 6%, with AAA-PBP on 5%, up a point.

The Social Democrats drop 1 to 4, as do the Greens to 2, while Renua drops 1 to less than 1%.

The poll was carried out between Monday and Thursday in the midst of controversies over gangland murders, water charges and the fallout of the O'Higgins Commission report
