Five people have been arrested in Limerick in relation to a violent disorder incident.
It happened at Lenihan Avenue, in Prospect on January 4th.
A number of people armed with weapons were involved in the incident.
A number of searches were carried out on the southside of Limerick City by investigating Gardai.
It led to the arrests of four men aged between 19 and 45 and one juvenile
They are currently detained at Roxboro Road and Henry Street Garda Stations.
