Gardai have arrested 4 men in connection with a shooting in West Dublin last March.

The incident on the Blakestown Road left a man in his 20s seriously injured after he was shot in a van.

Three men in their 20s and 30s were arrested in Dublin today following searches in the Hartstown area.

Similar searches were also carried out in Limerick and one man was arrested.

9,000 euro in cash was also seized.

The four men are being held in Blanchardstown and Finglas Garda Stations in Dublin.
