There is good news for motorists, with another drop in fuel prices.

AA Ireland says prices at the pumps have been dropping for three months in a row.

The average price of petrol is down 3.8c per litre, compared to July.

Diesel prices fell by 2.3c per litre in a month.

The average Irish motorist is set to save €5.70 a month compared to July.
