A reader survey for Condé Nast Traveler magazine finds Charleston in South Carolina is the world's friendliest city.

Sydney Australia is 2nd on the list with Dublin 3rd.

Galway comes 6th in the poll taken by 128,000 readers of the holiday bible.

Readers rated the places where they felt most welcome.
