Gardaí are appealing to the public not to share videos and images that appear to show the murder of Keane Mulready Woods.

Partial remains of the 17-year-old were found in Coolock, Co Dublin, on Monday.

Gardaí say the footage is unverified and very distressing for Keane's family.

Photos that appear to be of the 17-year-old's remains are being circulated, with the warning that if you mess with us, "you'll lose your head".

A video is also being shared that appears to show Keane begging for his life, before being hit with a weapon.

Gardaí are urging people not to share this footage.

They expect to confirm later today whether or not the remains found in Ballybough in Dublin yesterday also belong to Keane.
