Wicklow has been named as the most expensive county to get married in.

A new survey has revealed the average Wicklow wedding costs 24 thousand 615 euro.

Offaly is the cheapest county to get married in - at 20 thousand 930.

The time of year you get married also has a bearing, with July costing three thousand euro more than February.

August is the most popular month for weddings, according to the survey for WeddingSocial.io
