There's further evidence today that the Irish economy is on the road to recovery.

The Central Statistics Office says the growth was driven by the export sector - while consumer spending was down slightly.
Yesterday - the Department of Finance published the Exchequer figures for the first six months of the year - which revealed tax take was around half a billion euro ahead of projections.
