Gardaí have recovered a gun in connection with yesteday's city centre murder in Dublin.

24-year-old Martin O'Rourke was shot up to six times at the junction of Sheriff and Oriel Street in broad daylight and later died at the Mater Hospital.

It is believed he wasn't the intended target and was killed in a case of mistaken identity.
