Staff at Twitter are due to find out today if they've been laid off.
The social media giant, which has been taken over by Elon Musk, is expected to slash its global workforce by half today, which could see 3,700 staff losing their jobs.
The billionaire, who's changed his bio to read 'Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator' has promised to shake things up at the platform.
Some Irish Twitter staff have already confirmed on the social media site that they have lost their jobs.
Twitter has said staff will know by 4pm Irish time if they are impacted by the job cuts. The company currently employs around 500 at its Dublin office.

Twitter employees who are not affected by the lay-offs will be notified via their work email addresses. Staff who have been laid off will be notified with next steps to their personal email addresses.
The company’s offices around the world have been temporarily closed today and staff have been locked out of their accounts.
