Hundreds of farmers protested over beef prices in Dublin city today.
The demonstration got under way at 2pm and is still ongoing.
Motorists were warned of rush-hour traffic delays and road closures, with scores of agricultural vehicles blocking the area around St Stephen's Green.
Roads were closed around Kildare Street, Molesworth Street, St Stephen's Green and Merrion Square, as more tractors arrived into Merrion Square, where traffic was affected on a road which hadn't been already closed by gardaí.
Protesters were at two separate locations, but protestors were demanding gardaí allow them to merge.
Meath farmer Christopher Duffy says they should be allowed protest together.
"Half our protest is stuck in Merrion Square, with steel fences in front of us - we're like sheep waiting to be sheared," he said.
The Department of Agriculture says it has no comment to make on today's action.
