A 15 year old Irish boy has died following a fall in Lanzarote.
It's understood the boy, from Navan in Co. Meath, fell from a wall in the Puerto del Carmen area at around four o'clock yesterday morning.
Reports say that he suffered injuries to his head after trying to jump from a wall to a lamp post.
However he missed the lamp post and fell around 15 feet.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
