Lidl To Close Early This Weekend, As A "Thank You" To Staff

Lidl stores will be closing early this weekend as a "thank you" to its staff who worked through the pandemic.

Please note that our stores will be closing at 8pm this Sunday 17th October 🕒

This is to allow us hold a national staff recognition event to say thank you to our amazing teams for their continued hard work! 🎉

The German supermarket giant took to social media to make the announcement.

Stores will close at the earlier time of 8pm on Sunday.

The extra hour off will allow staff get ready for a "national staff recognition event" that's due to take place that night.

The company has apologised for any inconvenience to customers and thanked them for understanding.
