Thousands of commuters in Dublin are facing travel disruption this morning, as Luas workers engage in strike action.

TransDev - the company that runs the Luas - says the two day strike will cost the company around €200,000.

Normal service will resume at 6.30am on Saturday morning.

SIPTU says its members want a 54% pay rise over the next five years, but Transdev claims it can't afford it.
