A man in his 70s has died after a crash in Roscommon.
His car hit a wall at Ballyforan shortly before 5am this morning
The man was brought to Roscommon University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, a female passenger was uninjured in the crash.
The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
