Gardaí investigating the discovery of a body in Dublin have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.
The body of a man in his 60s was found in a bed-sit in Herberton Park in Rialto on Tuesday afternoon.
A man in his 30s - who it's understood was known to the victim - was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder.
He's in custody at a Garda station in Dublin where he can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
The scene remains preserved this morning for a forensic examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
A post-mortem will be carried out by the Office of the State Pathologist later today.
An incident room has been set up in Kilmainham Garda Station and a Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed.
