Man Dies After Being Struck By Lorry In North Dublin
A man has died after he was hit by a lorry in north Dublin on Wednesday night.
The man, aged in his late 30s was struck on the R135 at Kilshane Cross after 9.30pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to the Dublin City Morgue.
The driver of the lorry didn't require immediate medical treatment.
The road was closed on Thursday morning to facilitate a forensic collision investigation of the scene.
Officers at Finglas Garda Station are appealing to witnesses to the collision to come forward.
Gardaí are also appealing to anyone who was travelling in the Kilshane Cross area around the time of the crash on Wednesday night, and who video or dashcam footage to come forward.
