A man in his late 20s has died following a crash in Co Meath overnight.
The single-vehicle collision happened on the R163 at Headfort near Kells at around 1:40 am this morning.
It's believed the car left the road and hit a wall.
Nobody else was in the car at the time.
Emergency services attended the scene and the driver was pronounced dead.
His body has been taken to the mortuary at Navan Hospital.
The scene is being preserved for a forensic examination, and the road is currently closed to traffic.
