A man has died following a stabbing in Dublin.
Emergency services were called to a flat at Claddagh Court in Ballyfermot shortly after 2.30am this morning where they found a man in his 30s with an apparent stab wound.
He was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later.
A woman in her 40s has since been arrested and is currently being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.
The man's body remains at the scene, which is preserved for forensic and technical examination.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
