Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run incident in Cork.
A pedestrian in his thirties was injured when he was struck by a car as he was getting out of a taxi near Kent Train Station on the Lower Glanmire Road just after 2 o'clock this morning.
The car failed to remain at the scene.
The man was seriously injured and taken to Cork University Hospital.
Witnesses say the car was a grey Toyota, possibly a Statlet or a Corolla.
It's possible it left in the direction of Grattan Hill.
Anyone with any information is being asked to come forward.
