A man in his 70s has been killed in a two car crash in County Waterford.
It happened at Carroll's Cross in Tramore at 3:30pm this afternoon.
He was pronounced dead at scene, and a post-mortem examination is to take place in Waterford University Hospital.
A man in the second car, aged in his 20s, received serious but non life-threatening injuries.
He was airlifted to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
A passenger in this car was uninjured.
The road is being examined and diversions are in place.
