A fisherman helped to save a man's life in Dublin Bay today.
Dun Laoghaire RNLI was called for assistance at about 4pm after the man's boat capsized, near Dalkey.
When they arrived, a local fisherman was keeping him afloat from his boat, with the aid of a boat-hook.
The man was taken ashore and was brought to St Vincent's Hospital for further treatment.
He's understood to be in a stable condition.
The Irish Coast Guard helicopter, Rescue 116, were also involved in this afternoon's rescue.
