British Prime Minister Theresa May has told MPs she will stand down, if a Brexit deal is approved.

She's told Conservative backbenchers she's "prepared to leave" to secure a "smooth and orderly Brexit".

If that were to happen, it would mean Mrs May wouldn't lead the second phase of negotiations.

Meanwhile Westminster MPs are debating what policy they want the UK to adopt for the Brexit process.

There are eight options - ranging from cancelling Britain's departure if a deal's not agreed, staying in the customs union or leaving without a deal.

UK Labour will be supporting a move to put any withdrawal agreement to another referendum.

Meanwhile, the House of Commons speaker John Bercow has again warned the British government about bringing back Mrs May's withdrawal deal to the parliament.

It's been rejected twice, and he says the vote must be different.
