Netflix has confirmed price increases for Irish subscribers.
In a statement, the company said that it is increasing the price of Standard and Premium plans to reflect the improvements it is continually making to the service.
The announcement comes just weeks after the streaming service raised the cost of its subscription plans in the UK.
From next Wednesday its standard plan is to rise by €1 to €11.99, while its premium subscription plan is to increase by €2 to €15.99.
However, Netflix stressed that its basic offering will remain unchanged at €7.99.
