A new 690 thousand euro Emergency Department at Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin is officially open for business.
The new ED includes two new treatment rooms, a second Rapid Assessment and Treatment Unit (RATU) and a new reception and waiting area.
After extensive lobbying by staff, the HSE funded facility was opened by the Health Minister Simon Harris this morning.

Over 50 thousand children attended the Emergency Department at Temple Street in 2015. And In total, 126 thousand children were treated there last year.
