Research by the company has found most tea drinkers are too 'time poor' to brew their cuppa for the recommended 3 to 4 minutes.
85% leave the bag in for less than a minute, with 45% binning their teabag in less than 30 seconds.

The new design, in which the company invested around €58 million, boasts a teabag design which claims not fold over on itself, which can affect brewing.
